We stayed at San Michele last year with two young children. We arrived for the ski season and had booked the reasonably priced fully catered package. Our room had been updated and was quite acceptable to us - double or queen size bed for us (I can't recall exactly) and bunks for the girls with electric blankets. Inside was modern decor, a small but adequate heater, TV and a clean ensuite shower/toilet area. The drying room large enough for all guests to put their ski gear in and there was a (coin operated) washing machine and dryer as well. The restaurant met all our needs. Some evening meals were cold on arrival due to the cold plates. However, on rebooking this year, I spoke with the owner who has told me they are looking into a solution. They have Wifi too, and I saw one or two parents working during the evenings, but it isn't free wifi. And there's a bar! But most importantly, the kids loved it!
