I use business hotels a lot, and have always veered towards Travelodge when available, but ver the past few years, the product has become more and more depressing. Almost every comfort has been removed from the hotels, the bathroom has disposable plastic cups, the bath a grubby rubber mat, the rooms echo, the carpets are thin and tired and worse... More

When I booked I thought this Traveldge would be a little nearer to the town centre but is in fact about six miles away. This was not however an issue for me and if required there is an adjoining pub to use. My room was probably about 50 feet away from an unrestricted speed road beyond which was the A30.... More

This was the second stay at this Travelodge. The initial room allocated was on the ground floor. Found the room door open, water in the bath, and a strong smell of disinfectant. Returned to reception, was told that they were doing extra cleaning in the rooms, and this one probably had not been completed. Surely receptionist should have known before... More

The staff were very welcoming ,the rooms were very clean and fresh, the adjoining Victoria inn seved good evening meals and an excellent breakfast BUT there was 2 very noisy dogs in the room next door and after driving all day prevented us from sleeping well.i know this was not the staff or the individual hotels fault but I did not... I read the previous review and was worried however dont be put off by this. Our room was fine, spotlessly clean, altho the second bed had no linen or pillows that was soon rectified with a visit to reception. We only paid £16.50 as booked it during the sale so was not disappointed at all. TJ's cafe (on the industrial... More

I stayed here with 2 friends for 2 nights and was pleased with the hotel. The only gripe we had was that there was apparently a shortage of toilet paper, meaning that one of the rooms was devoid of that most basic of requirements for a while. Handy to have the pub attached, but the price of our drinks made... More

We chose this Travelodge as it is conveniently situated for us to get out and about to all our favourite places in Cornwall. This is standard Travelodge- cheap and basic. The rooms are a good size with a functional bathroom, TV and tea/coffee facilities. Most importantly the rooms are comfortable and clean. The reason we would definitely stay here again... More

We booked a few days before going as we saw a sale at £15 per room, per night. We often use Travelodge and are aware that the rooms can vary. However, the too we had here was clean and comfortable. The only trouble we had was some road noise at night, despite the hotel being away from the main road,... More
