Dim, dark and dank, room olde worlde in need of major overhaul. Mis matched furniture, carpets and fittings. Carpets looked like they were put down by a blind carpet fitter in the 60's. The Hotel is not really one to write home about. It is just off the A30 (so alright if you are only here for one night as a stop off) but doesn't have the "Tweeness" that flocks of people come to Cornwall for. In my opinion, the Hotel is stuck in the late 80's and lacks general upkeep and maintenance.... More

Right next to a dual carriageway-I could hear traffic all night. Toilet cistern leaked. Bizarre, intermittent noise from outside room woke me twice in the night-staff unable to say what it was; let alone deal with it. No hair shampoo either.
