Family run hotel in exellent location with great sea views. Locally sourced food. Paul & Elaine most helpful with activities available in the area and generally nothing too much trouble.

We have just returned from a visit to the Fairbank Hotel, Crantock. The weather was less than ideal but the warmth of the welcome more than made up for it. Elaine took the time to talk to us about the things we liked to do on holiday and then made helpful suggestions for places to visit on both wet and... More

The Fairbank hotel was just perfect for us. Modern, tastefully decorated and really clean. The food was good - plenty of choice and locally sourced. The dinning room and bar had a gorgeous sea view and nice relaxing music. We were made to feel really welcome and the staff were helpful but without being overpowering. Our room was beautiful, with... More

The hotel's location is perfect. Crantock village is situated far enough away from the madding crowd of Newquay in an idyllic location where one can start an uninterrupted and picturesque walk along the coastline. But what makes the Fairbank Hotel worth a very long and manic 5.5 hour train ride(s) from London? Location, comfortable accommodation, board games, books to borrow,... More

We decided to break our recent vacation in Cornwall into two parts. Not wanting to drive all the way to Mousehole in one day we chose to stop off at The Fairbank enroute to get our second wind so to speak. And what a wise decision it was for the Fairbank is a real hidden gem, the warmth and attention to... More

We didn't know what to expect when we arrived at The Faribank Hotel, but what we got was a real surprise. A very warm welcome greeted us on arrival and stayed like that for our entire stay. The hotel is tastefully decorated, very light and airy with fresh colours and comfortable furnishings, fabrics and spotlessly clean. The owners are lovely... More

My wife and I travelled around Cornwall last week and both agreed that Fairbank was by far the best Hotel we stayed in throughout. The breakfast poached egg was exemplary on both occasions, a feat not matched in all our years of hotel breakfasts. The sea view from our room (Constantine) was stunning as promised and the room itself was... More

Great welcome from really genuine hosts. Room was wonderful, and the view as stunning as suggested in the info. Lots of information about locale was offered and what a location! Breakfast was perfect and would suit every diet, quirk, appetite. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will go back.
