This is the third time we have stayed at The Tudor Lodge, an old hotel but with a modern addition. The rooms are warm and comfortable with an excellent bed and a good breakfast.

The quality of service was OK, room was quite spacious and the staff was very hospitable. I didn't like the fact the Internet access wasn't free (quite expensive actually) That is the only reason I won't be returning again. But if you don't care about that, I recommend this place as good value for money.

I stayed here for 4 nights in March 2012 and would not be in a hurry to return. Second time stayed here. Both times housed in rooms in the lodge. Very old building so rooms are quirky. Some bigger than others! I have stayed here a couple of times on business and would not stay here again. we stayed here after we got married and they upgraded us to the honeymoon suite which was very large, good bathroom and amazing four poster bed.

The website only shows the refitted rooms and areas, my room was very small and dated. The shower room was hard to move around in and it was not a nice stay. The breakfast and bar area are very nice and the food was nice, just a shame my room was not as nice.
