The landlady was very rude on arrival both to ourselves and to other guests arriving. She made you feel like you just wasn't welcome from the moment you arrived. The smell of pets was immediate when you enter the guest house. Rooms were clean but magazines from 2008 not what you would want to read. Breakfast was ok no fried food (all grilled). Owners obviously refurbishing the place and it shows the effort they are making.

Clean, comfortable, and well maintained rooms. Good breakfasts. A friendly and caring owner who makes sure that you have everything you need for an enjoyable stay.

I was appauled at the way myself and my family were treated during our stay at the Ryburn Hotel. The Landlady desperately needs to attend some customer care training. We were made to feel very unwelcome and an inconvenience. I would strongly discourage anyone looking at staying here.
