Stayed in in October 2011. Great place to stay. Friendly welcome, comfortable rooms and close to all amenities.

i stayed in winston house for 5 months due to work commitments and couldnt have found a better home from home! sarah and lorraine are both amazing people who are extremely friendly and helpful. the hotel was always clean and had a lovely atmosphere. i will definatly stay there again and reccomend it to anybody and everybody

I booked the large four poster room for a weekend away. The brochure advertisement said if we booked two night we would recieve complementary wine, we didnt even when we asked for the wine. Stayed at the Winston House in August 2011 again. We have stayed here many times and as usual were made very welcome by Sarah, Ray and Lorraine. Thanks Sarah, Ray and Lorraine for a fantastic stay. Hospitality was first rate and Sarah was a mind of information. We were made very welcome and nothing was to much trouble. If you like Indian food 'The Saffron Resturant' was excellent and the 'Cafe Bar' at the railway station was a wonderful little gem. Claire & Helen
