room 3 has a 4 poster bed and the room was a good size. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only down side was the bath/shower area requires updating. Room very warm during a cold period. Tea,coffee,towels,soap and shower gel available in the room as well as biscuits. Food good. Would stay here again.

Not by any means fine dining, but straightforward honest food and great service, we really felt the staff were pleased to see us. Extensive menu, something for every taste. You could spend £15, but need only spend £5 to get a meal. Don't be put off by rickety seats at some tables, they just add character!

Seven for lunch on Boxing Day....we knew the kitchen was short-staffed and under stress but it didn't show. Drinks and food served promptly and everything was "as ordered". Many thanks to Matt and Tom for their excellent attention throughout.

Awful welcome in grubby barr room disgusting with filthy shower that had pipes removed sticky carpet just a dive OK meal but dog allowed to sit on bench next to me in bar while staff stroke its head then serve food breakfast poor aldi style with waitress and chef using foul language at each other,complained but not interested
