Must say first, we didn't stay but went to eat after a friends recommendation. A good looking hotel/restaurant in a pleasant rural location, good ales on tap and comfortable surroundings, pleasant friendly staff. The meal started well with a dish of delicious olives and homemade bread, and went down from then on. The starters were alright, although there was no... More

Enjoyed a meal at the Talbot with 7 friends and two little ones. The staff were extremely accommodating, making sure we had room for pushchairs for two little babies - and all together very friendly with a good sense of humour. The food was good - great belly pork and shell-on-prawns (I think the only exceptions were that one of... More

This is one of the best stays we have had in quite a while. It hasn't been 'refurbished' to an inch of its life and some might think the rooms are a bit out of date - but it's a gem. The pub has great food, superb beer from its own brewery. Black pudding, bread and preserves are made in-house... More

I travel for business all over the UK and have stayed here several times, I enjoyed it so much I took the wife and kids there for a couple of days.. Maybe those with negative comments don't understand the history and age of the place and what it stands for. I love qwerky unusual places and the Talbot certainly is... More

I haven't been to the Talbot for many years. Having wandered around the area for a walk, went to the Talbot for lunch with a group of friends. All five of us had a great lunch. Their own brewed beers were as good as ever. I would strongly recommend it.

We stayed here for the weekend with our dog. The staff made us (and our dog) feel very welcome and everything was excellent - the food, the microbrew beer, the service, the room etc. Homemade jams/preserves, biscuits, fruit liqueur nightcap etc. Farmers market 2nd sunday each month. Lovely riverside location. Nice walks. Definitely recommended!!

Lovely welcome after a long walk- arrived at 3.45pm and between us we ordered a selection of bar snacks from a wonderful terrine with salad to soup to spaghetti. Food arrived promptly and we tasted great! We were out by 4.30pm to catch a train so perfect.

The Talbot is a lovely old hotel in a great position under Ankerdine Hill and next to the Teme at Knightwick. It is ideally situated for some glorious countryside in Worcestershire and Herefordshire and is on the route of the North Worcestershire footpath with Worcester, Malvern, and Bromyard close at hand . I cannot comment on the Hotel side of... More

Everything about the knightwick exceeded our expectations. The staff were wonderful, we were made so welcome both by staff and regulars. The food, especially the breakfasts, were the best ever, and the little touches, like the damson gin in the bedroom for a nightcap, and the home made biscuits for with our coffee were the icing on the cake.
