Stayed here whilst attending a wedding. Very reasonable price considering location. This is an old building so beware of a lot of sloping & creaky floors, but that is part of the character. Decoration could generally do with an overhaul, but it's nothing that drastic. Breakfast was good - nice to get fresh cooked rather than luke warm fro a... More

We stayed in room 6 at this hotel on Sunday 5th May. The room was very pleasant with clean sheets and towels and most of all a clean toilet! There was a little wear and tear in the bathroom but I didn't find it any worse than some other hotels I have stayed at and paid a lot more for!... More

We stayed for 5 nights in this hotel. Room nice and clean, beds not as comfortable as home but then what hotel bed is as nice as your own bed? Staff are very pleasant, nothing too much trouble. We had a lovely time, nice bar and lounge. Good English breakfast. Hotel is so convenient, a little noise from their special... More

Although the room was fairly comfertable, it was not particulaly clean, especially the bathroom. The window, which overlooked the main road could not be closed. The night we stayed, a Saturday night the first weekend in March, there was the monthls pub disco, which went on until 2 am. We were pre-warned that there might be a noise issue. With... More

We stayed at the Kings Arms Hotel, Malmesbury from 21-23 March 2013. The stay was due to a wedding at the Abbey. There was a group of 7 of us staying in 4 different rooms. We stayed in room 8 which was a large double room with shower. Restaurant was superb, very good evening meal, and a very hearty breakfast... More

My husband and I stayed at the kings arms hotel for one night a few weeks ago. We had looked at many different hotels in the area and found this to be the most reasonably priced. We decided not to opt for the breakfast as it was 10 pounds each but I liked the fact we had the option! The... More

Well located in the town centre and seemingly good value on paper, we decided on The Kings Arms for an 18th party stayover. Other than the friendly reception by the proprietor and his staff, the experience is best forgotten with unchanged linen, sauna hot room due to lack of rad control, cracked window glass and numerous other irritations and annoyances... Stayed for one night in an annexe room. Was glad it was only a place to crash after a party. Room was so dirty, can only imagine it was forgotten about and left to give out last. I knew we had taken the last room in the hotel that night. Dust in bedroom, cobwebs, swatted flies on the wall, bathroom... More

This is a very friendly clean hotel with a good quality cooked breakfast. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the location couldn't have been better. It also benefits from a free car park, though the entrance is narrow so best to fold in your mirrors. The only negative for us was a very small room which if we were staying... More

Loved our experience here. The cooked breakfast in particular was excellent value. I wish I could show you photos but I ate it all like a greedy person. I was really impressed by the fact that there was soy milk ready and waiting for those who would like it. Clean and good everything. Friendly service.. Parking is a little narrow... More
