Bought a 2night stay at kingsdown off of groupon. We initially wanted to book our stay over the summer holidays but had to settle for early september as apparently they were full all summer. After reading the reviews on tripadvisor, I was apprehensive about our visit. We arrived at the park around 7pm and the reception was closed so a... More

The positives: The park itself is on top of a cliff and partly sheltered by trees; you can hear the sea, which is nice. The park is accessed through the village of Kingsdown, which has very narrow lanes, so be warned if you are planning to visit with anything larger than an MPV. You cannot bring your car up to... Our Chalet was clean and well equipped in a nice location, the only negative about the accommodation was that it was north facing and the decking was out the front, as it was a lovely warm weekend you could not sit outside in the sun. The beach is shingle as previously mentioned but very quiet, and picturesque. Deal is a... More

We turned up at the holiday park a little early and were given the keys to number 65. My wife arrived there first and was shocked by the state of it. The smell of wee (urine) was not a first good sign. I am usually more laid back by these sorts of things, but even I was flabbergasted by the... More

To Start with, The Restaurant & Bar was a very freindly atmosphere with great service and brilliant staff, the food was very exceptional, with no wait times, maybe 20 minutes at the most, but as we all know, every restaurant has a wait when busy and in peak season!!!!! The Food was all Home cooked which was very easy to... More

Whilst the park itself was well maintained and seemed well thought out, we didn't spend any time using any of the facilities due to the condition of the lodge itself (no 56), which was filthy. We therefore spent as much time as possible out & about. There was a guest comments book in the lodge and from reading this, it... More

We spent two weeks at Kingsdown Park with our three and two year old children and will not be going back. The marketing of the Holiday Park is deceptive and misleading. The chalets decor is still in the '70's' style with bargain furnishings, tired fittings and an unpleasant musty smell throughout. The bed springs could be felt through the matresses... More

Stayed at a private rental chalet in Kingsdown Park in July. Very cheap week (£450 in summer hols) compared to Hoeseasons rates, so couldn't really complain about dated & old fashioned decor and wan't expecting much more or the price. Chalet had satellite tv and perfectly adequate kitchen & bathroom. Didn't have to feed the meter too much to ensure... More

FWe went to stay in one of the lodges in Kingsdown so that we could explore a bit of Kent and also nip across to France one of the days. We found the site to be very relaxing, it has most of the things that you need such as restaurant, bar, laundry etc. The great thing is that the holiday... More

Went to visit relatives in Kent so chose this place thinking that Hoseasons would be a pretty good standard. We paid £170 for 5 days first week of Easter. This was by far the cheapest week and I wouldn't have been happy to pay any more for what you got. The Park itself is pleasant enough, reception were helpful, tennis... More
