We stayed here for a wkend after getting a deal, but even at the discounted rate it still didnt feel like ver good value for money. we had a broken toilet and a boiling hot bed room. Breakfast was simple dire!! I wouldn't go back. However the Potting Shed restaurant next door is fantastic.

We are about to leave this very nice hotel after 3 nights here using Tesco clubcard vouchers. The rooms are in the main building and in some cottage outbuildings but close to the facilities. We spent a long weekend at Mayfield House Hotel at the end of March.Frank the owner and his staff could not have been nicer.The girls were helpful,kind and happy go lucky.The rooms were clean,bright and cheerful and the food was excellent.We shall certainly be going back in the future.Thank you all.
