Stayed 2 nights whilst on business in Amesbury. Room just ok. Plug missing from bath and tv didn't have remote.managed to get both from reception .walls were marked with plaster missing.looked like a mirror or fitting was missing and it was quite a stretch to see to dry my hair in the mirror by the door .I had a family... Checked in early evening. No parking spaces. Big hole in the road extending almost completely across the access/entrance road. Allocated Room 21. Walls shabbily touched up with "not quite a match" emulsion in numerous places. Greasy handprints evident also in numerous places on the walls. Third bed, a sofa bed, dirty enough to grow vegetables on. Chose not to open... More

Clean and comfortable. Staff very cheery and helpful. Extremely handy for Stonehenge. If its just a bed for the night you are looking for then this is fine and for the money hard to beat.

Stayed overnight May bank holiday after visiting Stonehenge and Old Salum Castle. Again you get what you pay for with Travelodge so expectations arn't high when you go. We had the 19 pound deal and too be honest the room wasn't that bad. The bed was nice and comfy, the room smelt clean. That's all I could ask for. This... More

My wife and I stayed 3 nights here. As Travelodges go, it was better than average. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the motel was weary. The usual (for Travelodge) scuffs on the walls, chipped paintwork and unhoovered carpets in public areas. The toilet needed a deep clean. It didn't look like anybody had had a vigorous lavatory brush... More

Terrible! Doesn't deserve one star. Room smelt of sewage. Bathroom mouldy and dirty. Mattress had broken springs, rattled and sagged so badly we didn't sleep at all! Sleep in your car, it'd be more comfortable.

Arrived here around 5.00pm, receptionist just about spoke. We had booked 2 family rooms. Our one smelt ok but had pubic hair left in bathroom from previous guest (made me feel sick), obviously cleaning not there strong point. Spilt drink stains on wall near bed & cobwebs. The other room really smelt horrible. Despite 3 people in this room only... More

Stayed in early April about a year after first stay at same hotel. I was in the "new" wing which has certainly become rather worn in the year since I last stayed. Room was okay but bathroom certainly could do with a pep-up; shower curtain not really adequate to stop water getting on to floor. Receptionist was very pleasant and... More

Stayed in this hotel for one night on 23.04.2012. I can safely say this has put me off Travelodge for life. Dirty, Smelly, and a rip off. Breakfast was awful, box full of crap and a rip off. Premier Inn outshines this company by a mile. I would say Book the Holiday inn a mile further down the road if... More

Quiet location, good place for an overnight stay. The only downside was the food. The only decent place nearby was Burger King and Little Chief. We ate at Little Chief which was right next door to the Travelodge. It was horrible. Tip: Stop by the city and pick up some food before you head by to the hotel.
