Stayed at the Craiglands as I was visiting friends in the area, and not much to write home about apart from it needs a bit of money spent on it. Staff were pleasent but when you are spending £80 you expect more for your money.
We stayed here while relocating to Yorkshire and it wasn't cheap. We did have a huge bedroom for four and massive bathroom but it was all tired and old - not one piece of furniture matched. The bathroom was ancient. Cleanliness was ok though stains and chipped paint all over. Though the kids really enjoyed the breakfast!

I attended a wedding on 19th May and booked to stay overnight. The room was very nice, clean and tidy. The service at the wedding was excellent with a great choice of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages on offer. Staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

paid for upgrade on groupon booking, room spacious and recently refurbished. However the mattresses were very uncomfortable. Lift was out of order, difficult for my less able mother. Breakfast buffet was excellent and staff very obliging. Public rooms very comfy. But they really must address those mattresses. Overall a lovely hotel

We enjoyed a wonderful wedding day at the hotel,all the staff were very helpfull. The room was beautifully presented.The wedding breakfast was excellent as was the evening buffet. We stayed overnight and found the rooms very comfortable and clean . Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice.
