A fantastic pub, with great food, lots of local knowledge and a fabulous welcome. I have been a few times, for a chill out weekend, site-seeing, romantic weekend, with friends, as a couple and on my own. I would highly recommend it. Cozy, clean and in an amazingly beautiful place.

Friendly pub, high up above Hebden Bridge, popular with dog owners, had a roaring fire when I visited. The room was very good value for this sort of thing, great breakfast. Our stay with Dave and Jeanette was a great experience. We received a lovely welcome, warm fires, great food and all very reasonable. We spent three nights in this lovely pub on the moors! Our rooms were spotlessly clean comfortable and warm (it was snowing hard on the evening that we arrived!). Jeanette and David go the extra mile. Meticulous attention to detail. Little personal touches in the rooms make you feel wanted and at home. Excellent menu; quailty makes you want more.
