This was my second stay at this former Benedictine monastry. This year my friend joined me - our sttay was only 3 days but my friend said "couldnt we just forget the rest of our trip" - it oozes character and is so relaxing - also offers great opportunities for exploring the Tuscany countryside.

After needed some accomodations last minute, we picked Fattoria Bassetto for its out of the way location. The property was an old monastery, winery, and very cool. Fattoria Bassetto, is unique, it is a place to take some time out. There is alot to do there, biking, cooking clases, wine tasting, mini van tours, lazing by the pool, or go for a pleasant walk.
