Convenient location, beautiful historical house with modern conveniences (great bathroom!), pleasant host.

We went here last minute and were very pleased. The proprietor was very pleasant and had great ideas about restaurants and the area. We walked along the river, directly across the street and through the gardens. There are many restaurants close by, well within walking distance, and lots of gorgeous old buildings.

This is a lovely house that is thankfully free of the Victorian clutter too often found in B&Bs. It's located overlooking the Susquehana, an easy walk to restaurants and the state capitol. Our host made a great recommendation for dinner. A healthy and plentiful breakfast. Off-street parking. Definitely would stay again.

Stayed here on trip to see the state Capitol building and Harrisburg. The place is immaculately clean and very quiet. Awesome beds. Coffee and tea always available.
