If you are visiting Gettysburg, this is a good place to stay. It is about 15 miles from the battlefield, but less expensive than staying closer. The staff is friendly and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The rooms aren't gigantic, but they have everything you need and are very clean.

I have stayed at this hotel several times, for extended periods of time...with many future trips planned. I must say that the staff is extremely friendly and enjoy striking up conversations. I travel to Hanover for business and basically you have two choices Holiday Inn & Hampton Inn. Normally I stay at the Hampton, but they were booked. The Holiday Inn is a nice second choice. I stayed over Fathers Day weekend with my brother and a buddy. We rode our motorcycles in the pouring rain over 10 hours to finally arrive soaking wet at the front desk. Stayed at this hotel with my family as a layover on our trip to Hershey. Excellent staff, well kept rooms, delicious breakfast with a variety of selections. Overall an excellent Hotel and a good value.
