The room at the microtel was very clean but extremely small. If my husband was sitting at the desk I could not walk between him and the bed to get to the washroom. It was very noisy as well. You could here people in the hall going into their room and when they were getting ice it was very loud. You... More

We recently stayed at the Microtel in Erie on our way home from Florida. The front desk/lobby area were clean & bright & the front desk clerk very efficient. The room was small, but clean & well appointed with everything we would need for an overnight stay. The hotel is located on the main strip of Erie & the front... More

Stopped after a long days drive cross country. The front desk was not very helpful- she could not recommend us a place to eat after 10pm when we arrived. The hotel does have an odor of smoke in the hallways, but we did not smell it in the room. Seemed clean enough- the location is right off the highway. Would... More

I recently stayed at the Microtel Inn Erie during a short road trip to Erie and Grove city Pennsylvania. Upon entry the outside and Lobby was clean and well maintained and check in was a breeze. The room however was a little dated but for the price i paid this was nolt much of an issue. The hotel is centrally... More

Stayed at this property for a brief night. Happy to have a 'basic' safe place to be for the eve. Have stayed at Microtels previously. SMOKE could be smelt THROUGHOUT entire property (though they advertise and STATE PLAINLY there are non-smoking rooms.floors, etc.). Due to health issues I need non-smoking accomodations. FOR SURE someone was smoking in a room two... More

Our first impression was the lobby. It was clean, modern and well lit. This hotel was great and we booked our return trip at the same hotel. The staff was very efficient and friendly. The room was a very pleasant surprise. Very clean looking and smelling, The bed was very comfortable, great bedding and pillows, and we loved the fact... More

Spent one night at the Microtel in Erie, PA. We had previously stayed at the Holiday Inn across the street before, but decided to find something less expensive. For about half of what Holiday Inn charged we got a clean room, a good bed. The room is small, but for us it was enough. The room was very quiet. The... More

Florescent lighting in a hotel room is too harsh and unpleasant. Desk light had a buzzing sound making it difficult to use. TV was old and had an annoying humming sound. The picture quality was poor. Room carpet near walls did not appear too clean. "Desk" chair was shaky and the seat was stained. There was some sort of stain... More
