The place is a dump....awful. I had to file a suit against them too because they charged us for "damages"? Broken lock on door when we got there then they claimed we broke a hairdryer? Then the staff was rude to us when we disputed it. They have no way to make money there because it is such a dump... More

we stayed here for an extended period of time before buying a house in brookville, and we got an awesome rate! the staff is really friendly, the rooms were clean. the place needs a little sprucing up but not too much. you get movie channels in the rooms, hot water, clean towels and sheets, plus there's a pool and wi-fi.... The service was horrendous. The room was a mess. Feces smeared on toilet paper and wall. It is advertised on line that there is a fitness room. False advertisement....there isn't one and that is the one reason why I had picked this hotel. I had pre ordered my room on line the previous week so I was unable to get... More

It was a disaster from the beginning. The clerk didn't seem to know what city she was in -- or what planet. After an argument with the previous guest who was trying to check-in, we asked about places to eat in the town. The clerk said nothing was open. Wrong answer. This is rural Pennsylvania but exterior doors ought be... More

This is a large shabby (60s vintage with little updating) place right off the highway. Some of the wings look completely unused, elevator is broken and it is not for anyone who wants an immaculate modern hotel. We booked it simply as the cheapest place to crash one night on a long road trip and it served reasonably for that... More

We stayed here 2 nights, first night would have given this place 0 stars, but i upped it to two after the second night. Arrived around 1:30 in the morning exhausted, the check in guy could not be any slower if he tried. He looked so confused about my check in. He kept asking me for my mastercard when I... More

We stop here every year when traveling and will be going again tomorrow (Dec. 07). No, it's nothing special - but it's basic, a bed, relatively decent and the staff is always friendly. The best part though was discovering the town of Brookville last year - it's a beautiful town that is especially wonderful at Christmas. There's also plenty of... More

Driving north-south thru Pennsylvania we booked a night's stop at Day's Inn Brookville. What a mistake - this was No.2 worse motel we stopped at on our last visit to USA, October 2004. (No.1 was also a Day's Inn, Roanoke VA). Huge place on top of hill - external doors not locked, corridors dirty, room almost clean (cleaners don't bother... More

We booked a room at this hotel thinking there were lots of amenities to make our stay more pleasant. What we found when we got there was nothing like it was advertised. Out of couriosity we checked other sites booking rooms for this hotel and found not one of them, including the official days inn site, had the correct &... More

We had originally booked a two night reservation at this hotel. The first concern upon checking in was the security - or lack thereof. The external doors have no locks and are completely accessible to anyone. Our room was located in the back of the hotel, pretty much right next to the door. In addition to the concern of who... More
