Location is romantic, several good places for dinner ranging from pizza to fine dining. Due to prior plans we were not able to stay for a luscious filling breakfast which was served @ 8:30. We did have breakfast down at the corner which was fine and very good. With prior notice, this could have been different. Due call ahead prior... More

we planned a last minute getaway for an early birthday present. I booked online and also had some roses awaiting us when we got into the room. the room was clean, roomy and we had a private bathroom which was very nice. The only downside to the whole trip was a slow drain in the shower. The breakfast offered by... More

My family started a 100 mile section of the AT- The Inn was great, the breakfast was fantastic and the outdoor porch was perfect for a glass of wine. I have read other reviews that this Inn is not AT friendly. Not true...yes they do not want our dirty packs in the room staining their carpet and comforters. You just... More

Boiling Springs, PA is a charming, U.S. town near the PA Turnpike Carlisle and Harrisburg.) The rolling hills and fishing pond resemble a Norman Rockwell scene from the 1950’s. We elected a B & B over a chain motel, and were rewarded with an excellent overnight visit at Gelinas Manor. Gelinas Manor is near the center of Boiling Springs, PA;... More

My husband and I stayed 2 nights in the 3rd floor suite. It would be perfect for a small family, featuring 2 bedrooms, a nice sitting area, kitchenette and hundreds of books. Lee and Kitty were gracious hosts, and the home's decor - though slightly dated - is cozy with warm family mementos. Breakfast was unusual, well-thought out, and delicious.... More

Came to do a little hiking on the AT. snow and no boots prevented that, so we mostly waited for the ice to go away. Breakfasts were served at 8:30 and were quite creative and good. The rooms were all a bit different. For lack of a better term, we stayed in the library. Spacious and comfortable. We were super... More

I am hiking the AT and decided to stay at Gelina's Manor. When I arrived, I was not allowed to bring my backpack (my home for 6-months) inside. I was made to enter the rear of the home. Leo the owner showed me to my room and took the comforter off the bed when we entered. Two other hikers called... More

The Gelinas Manor is a lovely old house in a historic town and is situated across the street from a pond and a park and is within walking distance of the Applachian Trail. Our room was spotless and the three course gourmet breakfasts were out of this world. Our hosts Lee and Kitty were gracious and helpful in obtaining us... More

Innkeeper was friendly on arrival but he never introduced himself so we weren't sure who he was. We didn't get a physical or verbal tour other than to room so we weren't sure which areas were public/private. Our room was fine, but so full of "victorian" memento's it felt crowded rather than restful. No hairdryer in bathroom & I felt... More

Victorian house, but room had old, uncomfortable contemporary style furniture. Bed was uncomfortable. Window air conditioner loud and ineffective. Hostess very rude. Breakfast small, bland, and ordinary. Better to stay at Allenberry or in Carlisle.
