We stayed at the Jean Bonnet in November. We were making are way back to New Hampshire and tried a different route. The place is wonderful. From the owners to all the employees. Our room was clean and bright, the bed very comfortable. It is nice to be able to walk from your room to the restuarant or tavern. The... More

We stayed last weekend, and loved it. Great old building, and our room (3) was spotless. We ate dinner there both days, and the food was excellent with a Chef that knows what he is doing. Nice bar too. Although it was noisey with the traffic, we have lived by traffic for 30 years, so it was nothing new. The... More

I was greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. The staff at Jean Bonnet are top notch. Very helpful and considerate. I arrived late, and the kitchen was still open. The food was fantastic, and the choice of beer's were unlimited. I was actually asked by the bar tender if I wanted a sample of the beer's before I... More

We stopped over en route from Amish Country to Fallingwaters, and since Bedford was 1/2 way between the two, we booked at Jean Bonnett. It was a great experience to stay in such a old, restored inn. The Inn is typically a restaurant, with rooms above, so the wait staff was essentially the innkeepers. The food at the inn really... More

On July 8, 2010, we (two adults, a 3 yr old and a nearly 2 yr old) ate and stayed at the Jean Bonnet. We broke up our trip from Eastern PA to Western PA with a quick and easy detour from the PA turnpike, to the Jean Bonnet. We were greeted by friendly staff who helped us (and our... More

Decent prices. Decent food. Service was the highmark, nice folks. Nice place with atmosphere to wet your whistle and fill your travel weary stomach. Didn't stay at the inn. More

The inn is only 4 rooms. Each is beautiful: 2 with queen or king beds and private bath, the other 2 rooms are actually adjoining double rooms - 1 with a bathroom in each sub-room and the other with the bathroom only in the front subroom. Reasonable prices and a good, full breakfast included (not just a danish and a... More

We have not spent the night here, but have traveled the hour from our home to eat here many time. The ambiance is fantastic! The building dates back to the 1760’s and George Washinton’s troops camped there in 1794 on their way to quell the Whisky Rebellion. The tavern has gorgeous stone walls with fireplaces and exposed wood beams. Stepping... More

We heard about the Bedford Springs Resort while the hotel was being renovated, and wanted to stay there, however, we felt the price was out of line. We opted to stay elsewhere, and just have dinner at Bedford Springs. We aren't "spa" people, we enjoy history and B&B's. We only selected the Jean Bonnet because it was nearby our true... More

Just spent two days/nights at this 1762 B&B. What a delightful find! The food was delicious, the tavern was fun, the rooms were lovely, and the staff was tops. This tavern was the midway travel point from my friend's home and mine. We found the B&B by searching locales on the Internet. What a fortunate chance to stay here. You... More
