I have lived in Oregon all my life yet never experienced this part of the Oregon Coast. I camp in a 24' class C RV. Tillicum Beach Park was perfect. Reading the reviews I was hesitant about the road noise. I camped in a site next to the ocean access with a fantastic view. The ocean music (noise) was wonderful... More

This is our second night here. It's a beautiful and we'll maintained park. The host is very attentive and answered all of our questions. While I understand what the other reviewers are saying about being close to HWY 101, we are staying in site 1 at the main entrance, we are not bothered by the traffic as the Ocean drowns... More

The beach access is far depending on where your site is. No running water at every site. No showers but they do have restrooms which is nice. No more than a 3 night stay though. The site is kept nice and neat. But it can be quite pricey. The weather was beautiful however!

Each year, we reserve for longer and longer ;) Since we always stay on top of when reservations open, we have been able to get ocean-front, so have no issues with traffic noise... only surf crashing. Noise? More like a symphony! The best part about the ocean-front sites are the little 'natural' balconies overlooking the sand and sea.. the bad... More

Nice park, good restrooms, okay beach. However it is right on top of a major highway and thus very noisy.

Tillicum campground is amazing! I love that the beach is sooo close! I like being able to walk down the beach in the middle of the night super romantic! I love hearing the ocean as you fall asleep! It's so peaceful and relaxing! The onsite managers were very nice and helpful! We had our wedding there, and it was so... More

This is the kind of place you don't want to tell anyone about because of it's location on a fantastic beach. But the secrets long been out so if you want to gaurentee a site on the beach, reserve one. But all the sites have something to offer, if not ocean front then nicely protected in the woods, but still... More

Nice location but very close to highway, so all front row campsites are quite noisy.

No matter where we were in the camp site (we stayed in several spots) it was fantastic. The beach was RIGHT THERE and it was equal distance from Florence and Newport. We also just "found" a spot the three times we stayed there. people had reserved places but not at the time we wanted them, so first come first serve... More

Tillicum Campground is located between Yachats and Waldport Oregon on Highway 101. Because of the fantastic ocean views, this is one of my FAVORITE camp grounds in Oregon. There are a few spots with electrical and water hook ups for $22. The best view spots are basic, without hookups, these go for $17 per night. There are flush toilets and... More
