Took advantage of bargain rates in December to stay near family. Breakfast is included but very basic. In all very nice place though, and reasonable. Owners are friendly. They have a cat (which hangs around the breakfast area).

The Edgewater Inn is a nice small hotel that is clean and comfortable. The kitchenette was a plus. We stayed in a riverview room and it's definitely worth it. They have a nice continental breakfast and great service. One of the raft rental companies is across the parking lot and your rafting trip ends walking distance from the hotel.

My wife and I spent two nights at the Edgewater, with the intention to fish the Rogue River with a guide the second morning. My wife had qualms about the place, since it was recommended by one of my fishing buddies who has no problem just sleeping in his truck to be at the right fishing place at the right...

When reviewing accommodations in this area, please remember this is rural Oregon where most of the small town motels were built in the 1950/60s and look it. This place is modern, clean, and has much better free wifi than I have gotten in 4 star hotels for $10-20/day. While a hour's drive from Crater Lake National Park, you can try...

The Good:
Location, staff, service, convenience, easy to find, superb view, clean, ample parking, river acess, activities nearby, restaraunts nearby.
The Bad:
Poor value, thin towels, worn mattress, lumpy pillows, broken plastic chair on balcony.
We paid $144 w/AAA for a riverview balcony room. For that kind of money I expect better ameneties.
The Bongos:
Most of the hotel guests...

We stayed at the Edgewater for one night while on holiday in Oregon. We had made our reservation through Expedia and paid approx $114. The same room, on a walk in basis with AAA rate would have cost $144 so make sure you use one of the booking web sites. The room overlooked the parking lot but that was fine...

We had a comfortable stay in the Edgewater Inn when we found that the few hotels closer to Crater Lake were full. The laundry and pool were nice. The river walk was a surprise. The rooms were comfortable, quite and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. There is access to gas and a small grocery store within walking distance.

Our room was nice and the balcony on the river was absolutely gorgeous. It had a fridge and microwave which made life with kids easier. breakfast was nothing fancy, very simple, but fine. We have 4...

We enjoyed our 3 nights at the Edgewater Inn. We had a downstairs river view room and it was easy to take our patio chair to the overlook and sit right over the river. Our room had a small refrigerator and microwave and was quite large. The swimming pool was warm enough to swim in and the hot tub just...
