We were a group of friends who stayed at Jupiter for three nights. A perfect place to stay if you're in Portland for the weekend. The rooms are clean, modern and includes only the basic stuff you will need for your stay (a comfy bed, a nice bathroom, a TV). Breakfast at Doug Fir is highly recommended. Will stay there... More

The asterisk is there because there was no event in the courtyard that night. I don't know how it would have gone if there had been any raucous event. Suffice it to say that families are not their target clientele, yet we felt satisfied with our stay. All in all, I was grateful to stay in such a tastefully outfitted,... More

So, I can't really review The Jupiter because I never saw much beyond the lobby. Upon arrival, right at check-in time, we were informed that our room type (the Deuce Bar Patio) had been oversold and we'd been relocated to the Eastside Lodge across the street. What I find suspicious about all this is that I booked the room two... More

This old highway motel has been spiced up for the future. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a nice centre court where you can enjoy a drink or read a book. Bikes are for rent, which is a great way to explore the beautiful city of Portland. Next to it is... More

Terrible experience, the owners sponsored and out of control late night highly amplified teen dance party by owner 50 feet outside my door. Owner and staff lied, were rude and totally unresponsive to guest requests for any consideration. I would never trust any people associated with this business. When I took the room I confirmed that there would be no... More

The good... Funky decor, Green-enviro focus, so close to the Doug fir you can roll home to bed, staff were friendly and helpful, awesome burgers The bad...Absolutely no insulation in the walls so heard every word of neighbors partying till 5am, air con as loud as the neighbors, expensive for what it was. To be fair they provided earplugs but... More

So we ended our Portland trip here and it was a good decision. it is an old motor inn that has been updated. They had some cool outdoor spaces for relaxing by the fire with a drink but the night we were there it was cold and rainy so no one was really using them. What we did do was... More

Stayed here one night on April 24 for Coldplay Concert at the Rose Garden . Cool, upbeat property. Booked 30 days in advance and received a discount. Staff went out of their way to be accommodating. Not stuffy or expensive as I used the restaurant for meals and the club for after the concert. There was live entertainment with a... More

Stayed here 1 night on our way through Portland and had a great time, we chose to stay on the "quiet" side and would recommend it for any light sleepers, we had a great kitschy room, friendly help from the staff, safe underground parking and an over all great experience. beds weren't as comfortable as possible, but nothing we couldn't...
