I usually stay at hotels close to the center or close to a shopping mall and this was the case. The location is perfect which I believe is the reason for the rate being what it is because the place is horrible. It is old, smells weird and the rooms...first of all the bed sheets are really old and the... More

The saying "you get what you pay for" is more relevant to me then ever. I was impressed by the price of the room, location, and front desk staff was really helpful. Hell I was even willing to have a sense of humor about the pubes on the bathroom floor. But after seeing a bed bug on the bed my... More

The location is fantastic. Just over the bridge to downtown, close to the Rose Quarter / Lloyd Centre. And fareless square makes it free to travel downtown. The Good: Staff are nice and Internet has to be the fastest WIFI I have had in a hotel (even when you compare to Westin Hotels!). The hotel is basic. Has TV and... More

I read reviews prior to making reservation and reluctantly called and inquired comments re; online reviews, ultimately booked one night. I waited 20+ to check in.Room was so ranchy and stinky i could hardly stay-if garage was not so unsafe, i would have slept there.Toilet not cleaned w hair on seat, sink didnt drain, internet, tho ensured on phone worked, did... Not a bad spot for hotel, but terrible hotel. It was rated at 2 stars, don't know how it got the rating...not even a 1 star. The staff (all one of them), was friendly and helpful...but does not have much to work with. hotel has signage stating NO SMOKING, but our first room assignment had STRONG smoke smell and very... Were some noisy guest at around 2 am both nights I stayed there but it did not last long. Good location for the Rose Quarter and the hotel is quite decent. Not luxury, but you would not expect that for the price. More

Location: was really not bad considering it was close to Lloyd Center, Max Rail, and close to DT Portland. Parking: you should always check in early if you want the upper parking floor which seems more safe. The lower garage type parking is well lit though is kind of creepy. Hotel: looks and appears to be built during the 50s... More

I was in Portland for the wonderful 4-day Waterfront Blues Festival and stayed at the Inn 5 nights. It's basic and a bit "frayed" and could use some renovation. There were smudges on the sliding glass door/window, some smudges on the walls, the inside of the elevators were scratched & smudged and the hallway carpets were a bit tattered and... More

This is a crusty old relic from the 70's, still chugging along in the new millennium. It's obviously a cash cow for a group of investors who have decided to run it until the wheels fall off, without sinking another dollar into maintenance. It's really too bad the owners can't make a few minimal improvements that would make a big... More
