When looking for a place to stay in Portland, many of the more centrally located, downtown hotels looked rather dull and boring. So, I was pleased to come across the Inn at Northrup Station on Tripadvisor. Normally, I wouldn't be interested staying in residential neighborhood a little removed from the center of the city. But the many positive descriptions on... More

Our family (mom, dad, 7yo daughter) stayed at the Inn at Northrup Station over spring break, primarily based on recommendations from TripAdvisor. Once again, the recommendation did not disappoint. The location was great, just a couple of blocks off of upbeat, funky 23rd Avenue. We ate at great restaurants either on or near 23rd three times during our stay, and... More

The rooms are a good size and contain a kitchenette. The Hotel offered free tram passes. They held a party for a solar eclipse which was top rate. One small quibble was that they rolled up the breakfast service at 9:30 rather than 10:00. More

Our suite accomodation was huge! The king size bed was not dwarfed by the room; in fact, it had three more living spaces including a living area, a desk/office area, and a kitchen with full-size appliances including place settings for serving dinner. But why cook in the room with all those quaint shops in Nob Hill only steps from the... More

Great hotel - decor was really cool and not your everyday, boring hotel. Staff was great and you can beat free breakfast and free parking. They also gave free passes for the street car - major plus! Next time I go to Portland I'll be staying here! More

My visit to the Inn at Northrop Station was full of pleasant surprises. The location is great, in Northwest Portland, a bustling "yuppie" neighborhood with upscale shops and restaurants and quiet, tree-canopied streets. It's secluded enough to provide a cozy respite from a busy visit to Portland, yet close enough to the action that you're never more than a few... More

The Inn at Northrup Station's in the wonderful ABC District of Portland, a bit northwest of downtown. With free parking and free MAX transit passes, and a trolley line right in front of the hotel, you can leave your car (if you have one) and breeze around Portland. That said, you don't need to leave the neighborhood at all -... More

I actually was a contestent on The Price is Right game show and won this trip to the Northrup Station.. That being said, it was A-W-E-S-O-M-E !!!! The front desk staff were warm and inviting, the rooms are super cool retro feel with all the benefits of todays conveniences. Free Wi-Fi (which is how I am doing this review ;)),... More

One of the true charms of visiting Portland is its lively and interesting neighborhoods. This delightful Inn is located right on the streetcar line (thus its name) is located in the hip northwest area off of 21st street with some of the best restaurants and shops in the city. Its been over a year since our last visit and its... More

we just left this fabulous small inn/hotel. loved it. from the first minute that we drove in, great things happened there. the staff couldn't be nicer, really, that is such a plus. they answered my many questions...(so picky am i )all with a smile. we asked for a quiet room, not a good sleeper, and we had a huge room,...
