My wife and I spent three nights here while visiting relatives. We booked the third floor suite, a huge room with two balconies. The location was very convenient for us, but it's on a busy streetcorner and so you'll get some traffic noise on weekdays. The hosts don't prepare breakfast, but do make muffins etc available in the morning. It's... More

My hubby and I stumbled across this B&B on a road trip recently and it definitely was a Key Highlight in our trip. Beautiful, beautiful place and I just can't say enough about it. The clawtub bath truly was a welcome after a LONG road trip. I actually Liked the idea of not too much "personnel" hovering over you. They... More

The Evermore Guesthouse was the perfect anniversary get-away for my husband and I. We stayed in the third floor suite which had 2 small balconies, a gorgeous bathroom, a lovely sitting area, and comfortable king-size bed. We enjoyed the room so much we hardly wanted to leave to go out to dinner. The house is just absolutely gorgeous with so... More

The Evermore Guesthouse has a superb location for anyone wanting to stay in southeast Portland. It's in what must have been one of Portland's seigneurial houses--a house with large rooms and open spaces and a broad central staircase. Its chief glory is some remarkable stained glass whose full color and elaborateness only appears when the lighting behind it is switched... More

We were so happy to find a B&B, in this great neighborhood, with large rooms, and king size beds. We had a suite, and could read comfortably on a couch, in front of the fireplace. More

House is a lovely, old property that unfortunately smelled musty. Was hit by the smell every time we entered the house. Portland can be damp, but dehumidifers have been invented! Expensive($150/night) for disappointing breakfast offerings.Guests encouraged to do own dishes, but should have dishwasher for insured cleanliness! More

This is a lovely building and the rooms are huge and beautifully furnished. The common area is also beautiful and the breakfast facilities are good. Very convenient for the funky Hawthorne district and also for public transport into central Portland. Our only complaint was that we couldn't stay for longer and if we ever visit Portland again this is our... More

This house is beautiful and comfortable. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. Other guest were interesting to talk to but quiet in their rooms. The staff was wonderful. Plenty of supplies for making breakfast and room to store extras that we brought. We sent four nights and I can't wait to stay there again. More

The rooms of this guesthouse were nice. Friendly staff, good location in the Hawthorne District, on the Clinton bike route; Bike storage. Drawbacks: breakfast with 3 day old muffins, bagels and croissants; quite expensive ($120/night) for such a lousy breakfast; coffee pot took forever to brew the coffee; room not attended to during the day; lack of furniture in the... My husband and I stayed here for just one night on our vacation in July. Thankfully, it was after an 11 hour drive that day. We managed to get their 3rd floor suite and thank goodness we did. The room was awesome and comfortable; the bathroom divine! Nothing is better after a long day than lounging in a claw foot... More
