I realize that as a guest, when I ask for something, that thing may not be available. However, that doesn't mean you get to treat me poorly or extend a bunch of attitude my way. Perhaps your denial of my request could even be accompanied by a smile. After all, you are in the "hospitality" business, right? More

Sounds like we didn’t do our job correctly. I would value further information from you so I can identify what went wrong. If you wish you can reach me at ri.pdxlc.gm@marriott.com Thanks, I look forward to hearing from you. Max K General Manager More

The room is fine. Good for families (suite). Breakfast is plentiful. Parking is not by the rooms and there are no elevators to the upper floors. At the moment there is construction going on. More

Thank you for your feedback, we sure appreciate you staying with us. Being that we don’t have elevators, I certainly hope that we offered to give you assistance with your luggage. You also noticed that we are working on our exteriors doing a complete refresh. We only work on 24 rooms at a time and we strive to keep it... More

This hotel is conveniently located close to the Lloyd Center mall, movie theaters, the NE Broadway commercial strip of restaurants/bars and the light rail station. I enjoyed the big apartment-like rooms with a full kitchen which are grouped in 3-storey buildings. Since the buildings are not equipped with elevators, I opted for a ground floor unit. Commuting to downtown Portland... More

Excellent Hotel We had to get the CBS & TBS stations programmed in the TV. But other wise this was a perfect location for the Rose Garden. Just pop on the train and a few stops later you are there. Portland has an excellent used bookstore downtown. We did not get enough time to see a tenth of what it... More

Well, my dog loved it. Quite an expansive property. Close to Max which is light rail that shoots you free in minutes over to downtown Portland. Otherwise adjacent to major shopping mall and close to Rose Garden. I like this product for the space. Well managed and good included breakfast by U.S. Standards. More

This is a good alternative to staying at one of the big hotels downtown in Portland. Lloyd Center provides lots of shopping opportunities, and its easy to get downtown on the tram from here. We stay here every couple of months when in Portland visiting family, and have always felt welcomed. The only complaint we've had is that we notice... More

Thanks for staying with us - I glad you enjoyed our location. I appreciate your observations on the breakfast. We sure don’t want to come across that were in a hurry to shut it down. The ladies who staff it will work on a softer approach. Thanks again and I look forward to serving you in the future Max K.... More

OKay so it's a bit outdated BUT the staff that this Residence Inn make up for that in spades. We didn't stay here because of business but because of the location. Portland is a great walking city and if you dont want to walk take their transit system- it's only a few blocks away More

Thanks so much for you wonderful comments about our service - we love you too! I am so glad you enjoyed your visit. As far as the outdated look - our full interior renovation starts April 16. It's going to be a great refresh. I hope we have a chance to take care of you again. Max K. General Manager More

A nice place in many respects, but sort of "specialized". Located quite near Lloyd Center, it's fine if you have business (or pleasure) in that particular part of town, but the pricing I found ($110/night) was not worth going out of your way for, and the bed was worth avoiding! There's a small OUTDOOR pool in a rainy town with... More

I appreciate your comments regarding our property. We are one of the original designs of an extended stay property. The founder of Residence Inn had a vision to build a hotel that looked and felt just like an apartment – a home away from home. Twenty plus years later, your observations have been implemented into the current design of a... More
