Third and best stay at Cape Kiwanda. They finally eliminated the seagull sound in their "sounds of the sea" sounds pacifier that plays looped ocean sounds. Older version became predictable (fifth wave as I recall). Just far enough off highway 101, not to be noticed by those in a hurry. Unpretentious elegance, but it you want a massage, facial or... All rooms have a stunning ocean view, although you do watch the sunset over the roof od the Pelican Pub. If you're a beach person this is a perfect spot for you. The rooms have been recently updated, probably to tie in with the sales promotion for the Cottages nearby and owned by the same people. If you like a... More

This is the second time we have stayed in this Inn during the off season and we enjoyed both times. Our room was on the third floor and we had an excellent view of the beach and Haystack Rock. We had a room that takes pets and it was squeaky clean. The lobby has little bags of food for the... More

I overheard a person at the front desk telling a caller that the Inn was a block and a half from the beach. She was wrong, this place was right across the street from the beach. The Pelican Pub and Brewery is also right across the street. The cost was twice what I usually pay but it was worth it.... More

A bit expensive if you have pets ($20/pet per night) but excellent location with ocean views right next to the beach and just across from Pelican Pub. We traveled north and south of Pacific City and definitely felt like we chose the right place to stay for two nights. Check out the Grateful Bread bakery - not the greatest food... More

We found this hotel because of the awesome pub across the street. We have stayed here every year for the past 5-6 years and we absolutely LOVE this place! The rooms are so nice and they have gas fireplaces and flatscreen tvs. You can check out free DVDs from the lobby. The rooms have little fridges and microwaves. The views... More

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and decided to go to the beach. Had heard of the Inn from my mom and thought to give it a try. We were not dissapointed! We arrived to a complimentary bottle of champagne in our room and took advantage of the rare sunshine on our balcony. Room was clean and comfortable... More

The staff here goes well above the call of duty. Kind, charming, efficient, and immediately on the spot to smooth any issue that might come up. The views are fabulous. The rooms are wonderful, with gas fireplaces, kitchenette and a private balcony facing the beach. Clean, comfy and romantic. We stayed three nights, and had friends from Seattle come down for... More

We had thoroughly researched the Inn's website and it looked like a gorgeous place to stay, which it was. To begin, Sally at the front desk was super friendly, welcoming and helpful. We got our room on the 2nd floor (there are only rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors) after we requested the highest room possible :( We were... More

We just stayed two night at the Inn at Cape Kiwanda. We purchased a package through Living Social....it included two nights, plus a $6 dollar beer sampler and $25 food voucher for the Peilcan Pub and Brewery. Check-in was smooth and the gal at the front desk was great. Our room was a nice size...two queen-sized beds. A mini-kitchen....fridge, sink,... More
