This motel gets you out of the main Portland area but you still have good access to downtown and there are tons of shops on McLaughlin blvd. on the way. We enjoyed our night at this motel. Very comfortable beds and pillows, nice bedding. Roomy room and bathroom. Nice and clean with great service! Most rooms have a private balcony off the room which is very convenient for smokers. Ours looked over the Columbia River and it was a nice view.

The employees were very friendly while checking in/out. We used this just as a place to sleep so no experience w/the restaurant, pool or workout facility. Not a bad place - rooms a bit spacious, water pressure good in shower (important feature!)... Staff freindly and courteous. Only problem is heating/AC unit - cant seem to keep temp in the room stable and kept going on and off all night long. Good location...
