This was SO far from the name hostel. It was light, bright, modern, with skylights and big fluffy duvets on comfy beds. We were a group of 15ish...there was plenty of room to gather in the open areas, and also room for quiet reading. The truly gourmet breakfast was a bonus. Again, Delightful

This hostel is outstanding! There is easy access to skiing,hiking, and biking.There is plenty of room to spread out in the hostel and room for quiet reading. The proprietors Gary and Linda are very hospitable and knowledgeable about the area.

The Oakridge Hostel offers comfortable accommodation in a delightful setting, both indoors and out. The proprietors, Gary & Lynda, are friendly and knowledgeable about the Oakridge community and area attractions and provide friendly and professional service to their guests. Very much worth a visit - I'll certainly be back.

Great ambiance, views of the surrounding mountains, delicious filling breakfast, and comfortable beds. Plenty of modern bathrooms and common rooms to spread out. Delightful staff. Luxurious for a hostel.

This Hostel is beautiful, clean and a joy to stay at. The breakfast (which is included) was excellent, the beds warm and the hosts knowledgeable and friendly. The location is perfect for lots of outdoor activities. There's a great bakery and pub down the street. Really a great place to stay.

Extremely clean and organized. Very helpful and friendly hosts. Breakfast was multi- course and included with lodging. Nearby are beautiful scenic highway for driving or biking & in town is an excellent English style pub.
