We stayed at Chandler by accident and our stay was great. Cheri, the hostess, is fantastic, the breakfast was very good, and the rooms were cozy. I will say the king bed in our room was amazing! And the fact that they gladly accepted our two dogs was awesome. We'll be back! More

Chandler's Inn, otherwise known as josephsbedandbreakfast, has become a new standard for the namesake, bed and breakfasts. We prefer Bed and Breakfast establishments compared to hotels or motels because of the ambience. Although there are huge differences in style among BandBs, the bottom line is referenced in the classification. The bed we indulged ourselves in was extremely comfortable and the... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights stay at Chandler's Inn. We stayed in an odd room with stairs up to a loft where my son could have his very own hideaway. It made an immediate "this place is special" impression on us. Syd and Lisa were very easy to talk with and helpful on suggestions...not too pushy, not too aloof.... More

My friend and I, first time traveling together, had a perfect two bedroom suite with a lovely deck but the best part of the stay was our hosts. Not only did they provide an outstanding breakfast each morning and advice on the town and surroundings, but Syd replaced a bulb in my car headlight. We had been stopped by the... More

We stayed one night while going through NE Oregon. The inn wasn't a super fancy B&B with jetted tubs and heated stone floors, but it was very comfortable and reasonably priced. We even got upgraded to a room with a private bath due to a large group of rafters who wanted to share the suite. Breakfast was very tasty and... More

My wife and I recently spent a comfortable and restful night at Chandlers' Inn while on a driving holiday through Washington and Oregon. Joseph is a charning town, a bit of a tourist trap but that's OK if you happen to be a tourist - plently to see and do especially considering the small size of the community. Chandlers' Inn... More

After reading the reviews, we booked one night at Chandlers' on our way through Joseph/Enterprise. We wanted to love the place but couldn't. Pros: walk to shops and restaurants, very nice hosts who try to please, very good breakfast. Cons: the place is a mish-mash of decors; it's basically clean, but is cluttered with "stuff" (like fishing gear or ducks,... More

LIsa was so fabulous and offered many times to get anything I might need. The breakfast was wonderful with house baked scone, eggs florentine (Benedict), juice and fresh fruit bowl. It was very affordable and I hope to return someday. Also, very cool fact that this was the first BnB in Wallowa County and has been open for 27 yrs.... More

Chandlers is a great place to stay, Syd and Lisa were just super! within short walking distance of shopping in the quaint town of Joseph, or cooling off with a swim in Wallowa lake. I highly recommend staying if your going that way. More

The hosts, Lisa and Syd were very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts (we stayed three nights) were great and the bed comfortable but worn. I'd suggest trading the "view" of rooms 1 and 2 (we stayed in 2) for the spaciousness and more quiet of 3. We will if we visit Joseph again. Common area kitchenette is available for guest use. More
