My wife and I recently visited the Bybee House in Jacksonville for Valentine dinner. While the ambience, service and company were very good, the food with the exception of the salad was absolutely horrible. They said it was a sirloin steak. It was not, and the piece of meat they did serve was absolutely "hammered". It was more than well... More

When William Bybee built his home in the 1850's, he couldn't have picked a better location for an inn. Neither could he possibly have imagined that 160 years later, people from far and wide would visit and experience the grandeur of what he alone once possessed. We have visited quite a few very special inns/B&B's here in the states and... More

My husband and I stayed at the Bybee House over Thanksgiving weekend (2011). We were in the Americana room, which is quite large with a lot of room for relaxing during down time. The room is exactly as the photos show, with a large, comfortably sofa, big screen TV, ceiling fan and heater. The bed was large and very comfortable... More

Delicious food, quality toiletries, luxurious linens and robes, beautiful grounds, exquisite furnishings and antiques, comfortable and homey atmosphere. Feel like family when you leave and we hated to leave. More

My family and I drove up from Northern California for a wedding in Medford. We rented out the entire B & B because we have a big family and small children. The two ladies that own Bybee's love their house and love to cook. I have never seen such a well taken care of beautiful old home. The home is... More

The two cousins who run the Bybee B&B were so friendly and accommodating, they made us feel like members of their family. The rooms were tastefully appointed in 19th century decor, charming and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended. Also loved the music playing throughout the downstairs rooms. This inn is the BEST kept secret. The warmth and hospitality are outstanding, food wonderful, cleanliness superb. We extended our stay to 3 nights and plan to return. It is quiet, yet plenty of outside ambiance to enjoy a brisk walk or run. Vikki and Tina are superior in their care of both their property and their guests. Wayne and... More

My husband and I stayed at Bybee's in September. This historic inn is breath-takingly beautiful, charming, peaceful and comforting. Vikki and Tina are warm, friendly and incredibly inspiring. They have created an enchanting mix of amazing antiques, paintings and historic decor. From the music playing on the porch, to the old shoes filled with succulunts, not a detail has been... More
