Hotel is a little older looking from the outside but the room looks like it was redone. Clean and comfortable. The layout of the hotel makes the trek to breakfast or the pool a little ways if you are in the section that is located farther away from it. Great location for visiting Univ. of Oregon. My room was was big, had free WiFi and a decent TV and was reasonably quiet. Very good deal for the price. I would definitely stay here again.

The front desk staff here are surly and unhelpful. Rooms are ok, small but clean. Noisy location but convenient. The beds are surprisingly comfortable. The view is of something that looks like a muddy drainage ditch. Breakfast is minimal with horrible coffee. Overall I wouldn't stay here except for the convenient location. Not worth what they charge.

We have stayed here each fall for over four years when going to football games. I echo what others say about its proximity to U of O campus and the river/bike paths. The increibly rude breakfast room staff person needs to be fired, reprimanded or go to charm/customer serive school. We stayed here for one night in the process of moving from our home in Eugene to a new place out of state. We wanted a simple, inexpensive, clean place for one night and this fit the bill perfectly. The room seemed newly remodeled and clean, with very nice bedding. The bathroom was smallish, but met all of our needs.

Great place to stay near the University of Oregon. Easy access to the college and Autzen Statium, Matt arena, and of course the campus. Newly upgraded with lovely pool and fitness area. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
