I highly recommend a stay at Black Walnut Inn. The drive to the inn from the town of Dundee surpassed all expectations. On arrival, our breath was taken away. The breakfasts are over the top delicious and well presented, the wine is very good, the setting is fairy tale perfect and the innkeepers and staff are top notch. I will... More

Amazing location, great service and advice but never felt smothered. The rooms were unique and cozy and the area is beautiful and feels secluded. We made a stop here over our honeymoon and definitely want to go back to celebrate an anniversary.

This place is wonderful! The views in every place you sit in the entire house are beautiful. The pictures do it no justice. The decor is all high end and you can tell that no detail was looked over and no expense was spared. Everything from the towels and soaps, to fixtures, lighting and paintings are luxury. The owners,Karen and... More

What a truly lovely, relaxing, comfortable weekend. The Black Walnut has the luxury of a high end resort, while being as friendly and comfortable as someone's home. Karen and Neil made us feel so welcome. We highly recommend splurging for the master suite. The views are gorgeous. We watched the sun rise over Mt Hood, had a clear view of... More

This past weekend we spent our 3 rd or 4th visit at the Black Walnut Inn. Another perfect weekend at a perfect inn! I highly reccommend this place to everyone who enjoys top class accomodations, a friendly staff, incredible views and all of this is the heart of Oregon wine country. We had read a negative review on tripadvisor which... More

..at a reasonable price. Waking up to the sun rise alpenglow on Mt Hood just one of the numerous attractions. We were the only guests there, and received exceptional service. Breakfast huge/delicious.

This marked our 3rd stay at this gorgeous Inn. Although the prices have increased about 50% over the past 5 years, the rooms are worth whatever you pay. We chose the Vista because it afforded an unrestricted view of the Willamette Valley, a beautiful sunrise and was located at the end of the hall. Rooms are spacious, clean and very... More

The property is beautiful and has such promise but our stay was uncomfortable, the owners did not address the situation appropriately and our room was littered with prohibition signs. We arrived at the inn at 5:00. Our room was 57 degrees when we arrived. I jumped into a hot bath just so I could feel my feet and hands again.... More

As owners of the Black Walnut Inn, we always take our guest's concerns seriously. Arriving at a cold room would certainly not rate high on our list either, however, we were not made aware of this problem until the guests were leaving for their dinner reservations. We let them know that we would try to fix the heat issue but... More

Beautiful Tuscan home with lovely rooms overlooking the vineyards and countryside. Even the approach to the house is amazing. I could stay there several weeks and be happy, but I don't think my waistline could handle the delicious breakfasts. The sweeping staircase when you walk in adds to the drama of the house, but the views are the most amazing... More

Our 4 night stay at this inn was the pinnacle of a glorious trip to the northern CA/southern OR wine regions. The inn looks like it's been transplanted from Tuscany. The ambience is gracious and welcoming. We stayed in The Classic suite and loved it. Truly I think ANY accommodation you choose would be pleasing. Breakfast is a gastronomic delight... More
