Wonderful hospitality, lovely rooms and a delicious breakfast. What more could you ask for? Well, we did get a splendid recommendation for our evening meal which turned out to be one of the best meals ever! Highly recommend this place and will be planning to return soon.

The Lara House Lodge is an absolutely beautiful house with an interesting history and charming hosts! This is the 4th time we have stayed at the Lara house.We love the rooms and the location---you can walk everywhere. I noticed they had cut back a lot on the really good breakfasts--they used to platters of food--nice sausages, etc, but not even close to what it used to be. . The Lara House lodge is beautiful, luxurious, comfortable, and peaceful. The Innkeepers Pete and Lynda were very kind, helpful, an accommodating. We plan on returning soon!
