I rented a room for 5 days. My clearly labeled non-smoking room smelled like smoke (and had an ashtray placed on the table). The cleaning staff rifled through my suitcase and took my Sony handheld. Knowing it was a motel 6, I didn't expect it to be the Hilton, but the beds were horribly uncomfortable and nasty. Our sheets were clean, but the mattress and boxspring were gross! What I like about this Motel 6 is that all the rooms access through inside hallways , instead of outside doors. This is always a much more secure option, in my mind.
