Uncomfortable beds, no elevator, sickening deodorizer smell in the room, and less than mediocre breakfast. Never again...
Spacious room and bath. Seperate sinks in bath made dressing easy. Especially liked the full length mirror. Quiet. Spa tub was nice.
This was a nice enough hotel, bkf was good. Be careful if you are not a smoker, some rooms are very very very smoke smelling. :(. We were lucky our friends not so much. The staff was very nice and it is easy to get around the community.
My understanding of the room description when I made the reservation was the king executive suite would come with a ref and microwave. Checked in and was given a room without either ref or microwave. Arranged to get transfered to a suite that did have these features, at an additional cost of more than twenty dollars. Got to the suite...

Dead roach under the sink. We reserved a non-smoking room and have been placed in not only a smoking room but one that has been saturated with very strong cigar smell. Also, no mini-fridge which is very strange. Two double-beds, when there is really only room for one. And no emergency instructions on the room door.
Running Across America demands a lot of you. Good rest especially. Myself and my crew found AmericInn a great place to relax and unwind from the challenging days of running roads of Oklahoma!
Clean rooms, cozy, friendly and professional staff made our our stay at AmericInn quite enjoyable and I would recommend AmericInn at Sayre, Ok to all my fellow...

No restaurants close by. Kids running up and down the halls morning and night. Not a large enough breakfast area to accommodate all the guests. Fabric shower curtain that blows in on you and sticks to ya. No elevator, only stairs. Mattress hard as a rock.
Stayed here for one night when traveling route 66.
The hotel has a nice atmosphere, the reception is comfy and has a homelike look. We stayed in a jacuzzi-suite, the room was big and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable, really a great mattress.
The hotel is located just of the freeway, 5 minutes from Sayre "downtown".
Breakfast was...

Our room had food on the floor and cockroaches in the room. The bed blanket and coverlet were not clean. Worst of all though, the entire facility was infested with cockroaches of all sizes. Hotel staff refunded our entire payment when we complained. (The right thing) I'll never stay at another one.
We stayed at this hotel during our Route 66 trip across Oklahoma. This hotel was so nice looking when we checked in, the front desk staff (upon checkin anyway) was great! I liked how all the rooms were named for various parts of Oklahoma history. We were in the Walter Merrick room. The hotel was priced reasonably. First problem, after...
