This place needs to be TOTALLY remodeled! Rooms are in need of maintenance. Mattress was the worst of our last 10 hotel stays. A/C vent in the hall was filthy.... a real good indication of maintenance not being done. If it had not been for great staff this would have been a total disaster.

This Fairfield currently really needs a freshening; the carpet looks especially old/dirty. However, it is about to be renovated starting on the Third Floor and working down beginning in October 2012. The staff is very pleasant at this hotel.
