The Cherokee Inn is mainly for truckers and people who cannot necessarily afford the Hard Rock room rates. The Inn used to be the super 8 and has been there for at least 20 years, so a housekeeper cannot really "deep clean" the rooms. We stayed here on our way out to Missouri over Thanksgiving. It's less than average, but certainly not as terrible as described by the two other reviewers. Nasty. There was mold on the ceiling. The toilet tank was missing the top and they had some weird piece of plastic covering it that we had to lift each time to get the flush handle. The rooms are seedy. Dirty, smelly and clearly haven't been deep cleaned forever. The room was noisy and it is clear that Hard Rock (which owns this adjacent property) doesn't care at all about it. Really pathetic.
