Spent one night at the Carlisle Inn. The staff was very personable, room immaculate, and views wonderful.
My husband and I recently stayed at Carlisle Inn Walnut Creek in May 2012. We arrived around 4 pm and the room was ready. Huge room with 2 double beds (we booked the day before and it was the last room they had open). It also had wicker furniture and they all come with a balcony. Ours was a room...

My sister and I stayed at the Carlisle Inn in May of 2012. It is a lovely hotel with friendly staff. Our room was very nice, although the balcony was not very clean. The bed was comfortable. They have snacks (popcorn and cookies) in the evening, which were great, and the breakfast was a cut above the usual economy hotel...

Two problems dealing with plumping. #1 We arrive in the early evening and my wife wanted to take a shower but there was no hot water. The next morning she tried to shower again no hot water. I did take a shower at 10:30 pm and the water was hot. During the second day the water was hot and then...

I sincerely apologize for any inconveniences you had encountered, including the unfortunate water issues. The lack of warm water, however, was actually due to one of our hot water tanks being down. The tank has been replaced and warm water...

This is an idylic place to stay--especially if you get a room on the back side facing the farms. The view is absolutely beautiful. The staff is most gracious, the inn is comfortable and immaculate. Location is perfect, and the price reasonable, especially on non-week-end days.
Great location, with nice breakfast and cookies in the evening! Great views of the country side. Request backside of property the views are better!
My husband and I have been to the Carlisle Inn in Walnut Creek many times. We keep going back because we love the quiet, the cleanliness, the scenery, and the laid back feeling the Amish Country offers. We find it perfect for a weekend getaway without the kids and you can never beat the price. We enjoy furniture shopping and...

We have stayed at this property several times when the Oak Ridge Inn is not available. Our favorite is the Oak Ridge but since it is a small property it books up quickly.
We like to stay in Walnut Creek while visiting Homes county because it is not as crowded, has a good restraunt, several nice shops and a great...

The Carlisle Inn at Sugarcreek had no rooms available the weekend that we planned to make a trip to Amish Country. We've never stayed in any of the other hotels there in the past, so we were a bit bummed. The Walnut Creek Carlisle Inn did have available rooms, so we decided to give it a go. Although it is...
