A great place in a great location. Breakfast on Saturday was phenomenal. Sorry we had to miss Sunday's breakfast due to the need for an early exit Sunday morning. Got to see the various rooms first hand. Can't wait to try them all on return visits. Joey (owner) goes above & beyond for her guests. Lori & Jim from Hermitage,... More

The location is great and close to downtown. The house was decorated so well. The room was clean and comfortable. The first morning I actually woke up too the smell of breakfast cooking. The food was amazing. Danny was very helpful with everything we needed. We will be staying again next season!

My husband and I decided to stay at a B&B for the first time and we were overjoyed with our choice at The Anchor Inn. The place was very clean and the sister of the owner was very nice and accomodating. The location was perfect being right outside the main "party" area but quiet enough to relax and enjoy. We... The Inn was clean and quiet. The owner was very helpful in recommending sites and providing beach towels, which we had forgotten. The only issue was that our room was over the kitchen and the noise woke us early than we would have preferred.

Thanks for staying with us and I am sorry about waking you with our noise. We now have a reminder sign in the kithchen that says "Shhh! Guests may be sleeping." In all the years that I have been doing this, no one ever said anything about the noise. Makes me wonder if there weren't other guests that we awoke... More

We found the Anchor Inn B&B to be perfect! 1/2 a block from all the main attractions, yet a nice peaceful quiet place to sleep. We rented a golf cart for $60 as soon as we got on the Ferry and drove 2 blocks or so to The Anchor. We were early so we asked if we could drop off... More

We stayed here last year and had a great time. This year, no full breakfast was served as promised on web site. The owner`s sister made some breakfast for some guests but not for others. Even she said, I never cook full breakfast on weekends. We will never go back.

This shouldn't have happened to you and I am so very sorry. I remember your previous visit, and things seemed to go very well. This year the unexpected happened, and my sister came to help me during my hospitalization and recovery. She is definitely not an innkeeper, but I can't totally blame her. She had no training, no guidelines and... More

My daughter and I had a 2 day get-away and stayed at the Anchor Inn in the Garden Rm. We adored the quaint and beachy-island decor of the Inn, and the gardens and gazebo were so pretty. During the week is a continental breakfast and it was more of a breakfast than we expected. They had 2 bikes for use... More

Thank you for choosing the Anchor Inn. We are always happy when our guests are happy. (Someday I hope to remodel that bathroom and put in something larger!) More

Nice location. Close enough to restaurants and bars but still quiet. Nice room and good breakfast. Ask them about info to reserve a golf cart at the shop around the corner. I also liked the off-street parking, since we drove from the ferry.

I've never stayed in a bed and breakfast before and after this experience, I'll be hesitant to do it again. - Made the reservation by phone. Asked for an email confirmation and never got it. Called and left a message to send it - never got it. Called again. Spoke to a staff person who said she was too busy... More

I am sorry that your experience wasn't a good one. I think I was the one you communicated with while trying to get a confirmation letter - we sent four to the e-mail address you provided. you're last communication was also with me - by then I was in the hospital, and sadly but honestly, too sick to really care...
