“great staff in beautiful Ohio area”

The staff, Diana and Tiffany, who checked us into this Marriott were extremely helpful. We were interested in visiting local places, including Denison University and downtown Granville. Using interactive maps, they showed us how to find these areas and answered numerous questions. This is a very nice Courtyard by Marriott. It has all the ameneties of the Courtyard chain. The location is great for visiting Denison University and it is easy to get on and off the highway here. “Nice Hotel, one of the better ones in this area”

I had a first floor room which was a little noisy, but overall the hotel was comfortable and the staff was nice. The bar was very good and convenient. Friends and I enjoyed being able to come back to that after a nice dinner out.

Just spent three days at the Courtyard by Mariott in Newark, Ohio. It is a great place to stay. The front desk people are extremely helpful and personable. Everything awesome except Bistro. Not the easiest way to get breakfast. Might have been quicker and cheaper to go off site. Room was great. Staff vert friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

“always a welcome respite”

After returning my daughter to college I am always pleased to check into the nearby clean, comfortable Courtyard. I can purchase a glass of wine to relax and look forward to being rested for the return trip home the next day.

“Literally, the only chain hotel in town.”

Nice if you like the Bistro style Courtyards. I don't, but some folks do. I think the Bistro set up is just an excuse to charge everybody for an overpriced breakfast. This place is newly remodeled and the staff is very helpful. Ask for the Holophane rate for the best price. Go out for a better breakfast.
