PROS:
Clean facility, staff was moderately friendly, the room was quite large.I had no issues so I do not know how well the staff would handle problems. Tuesday/Wednesday night reception with snacks and beer. Breakfast was good, typical of Holiday Inn Express. Great cinnamon rolls!

Evern though the hotel had a college group in for the weekend everything went smooth and the gentleman handling the breakfast was outstanding in keeping everything stocked. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and courterous. If staying in Marion this is a good spot to look up for a night or two.

The Holiday Inn Express Marion was a decent hotel that looked great on the outside, but needed some serious updating on the inside. Carpets, wallpaper, paint, curtins, thin walls and leaky windows to say a few. Staff was nice and rooms were clean. This is still probably the best place to stay in Marion, just needs updated.

Good things first. Rooms are good sized and wireless works great. Unfortunately many of the rooms are quite noisy. Breakfast was very poor, not one single vitamin to be found.
Hotel was very quiet. Room was what you would expect. Free breakfast was OK. The hotel was difficult to find. It is through the parking lot of a big box store and is quite well hidden from the road. Its worth finding but you really have to keep alert to see it.
I would highly recommend this hotel. It was very clean. The rooms were nice. Pool was great. Breakfast was pretty decent. I would have no problem staying there again. Two thumbs up!
