When we first started spending weekends in the Hocking Hills, we stayed in the Anniversary Cottage #1 with Barringer Ridge Cottages. We had a good time, but we are still laughing -- now that we survived and have moved on to much better cottages -- at the weekend we spent with thousands of ladybugs, crawling over EVERYTHING in the cabin... I booked the Anniversary I cabin as a surprise for my husband's birthday. What a wonderful time we had! This was the secluded cabin farthest from the road. It was very private, clean and quiet. Their website is the epitome of false advertising. I would love to stay at the cottage in their pictures - but that isn't their cottage on their website! The "Blue Ribbon" award is fictitious. I've experienced better "country decor" at a Red Roof Inn. The room was overrun with insects - ladybugs are cute, but not in the HUNDREDS. Overpriced,... More
