Upon arriving walked in to reception to not be greeted by the person on the desk. To busy doing something else. I guess paying tourists are not a priority. Not a good start. Was told that twin share was not available and was put in a family room with 2 singles and a double. Was asked to not use the... More

Agree with other traveller that interaction with owner was more hostility than hospitality. He shouldn't be in this business if he finds it so difficult to be polite to customers. We are a family of 5. Villas are advertised as available for 5 guests, but owner would only allow 4, insisted that we rent hotel room for 5th person. My... More

This was a great location to explore and enjoy the Freycinet Peninsula and see said peninsula from afaracross Great Oyster Bay. Room was small, tidy and had noisy floor boards. A few nails may remedy this. Staff friendly and helpful.

I am not sure how this place is still operating?? When we arrived we were 'greeted' by a man who wouldn't even look us in the eye and just mumbled through the payment process. Our room was on the 1st floor with a pretty nice balcony - however - the room itself was in desperate need of an upgrade. There... More

Excellent location overlooking to ocean while being right in the centre of town. The staff were excellent and the room has private balcony, exceptional decor with every facility right down to flowers and air freshner in the bathroom. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights in February 2011. These self catering villas are spacious and reasonably well equipped. However they are a little tired with some equipment in need of updating. Don’t be misled by the claims to a wonderful ocean view. The ocean can only be seen from the first floor bedroom. The view from... More

Nice little villas in a very sleepy quiet Swansea.. Balconies a tad small with no privacy and didn't really overlook the view at all.. Decor is a bit untasteful but made it old fashioned and twee which I liked :) Biggest disappointment was that we chose this place for it's wood fire but when we showed up there was a... More

We have been touring around Tasmania and everywhere has been great until we went out for tea in Swansea, we didn't book so just went in to see if there was a table available we were greeted quite rudely but were given a table straight away. After looking at menu that stated if you would like separate billing to just... More

Stayed 1 night in a 2 bedroom villa and that was enough. The pictures from the outside on the website look great but the reality is that the units are poorly positioned and the balconys lack any privacy. Carpets worn and dirty, kitchen dated, lounge room poorly arranged. Not great value for money. Would not go back.

I stopped and asked if we could view the room.We had viewed a few along the way and subsequently stayed at the hotels. "No we are too busy"was the answer we were given. I should have realised at that point , that my experience here might be underwhelming. We had a wonderful trip to this point, showing off Tasmania to... More
