We've just had what was supposed to be lunch in the restaurant of this hotel. Overall it was a disgrace. We were the only customers and firstly had to wait more than 20mins for roast pork, which was a staple on their menu. The meal was completely inedible. The pork was days old and like cardboard. How you can get... More

I was disappointed to say the least in the standard of service and friendliness in this pub. They had all recently lost their jobs because the place closed down and then the story was in the papers about how somebody had bought the pub and was making a go of it, so I thought I would support them by having... I stayed here end of February just for one night and it was overall a good experience! I booked online but my reservation never went through- cue panic as I only found out the night before when I phoned with a question! They managed to fit me in though and only charged me the rate I'd agreed to which was... More

I did NOT stay in this hotel - my fiance and I went there for dinner on Jan. 2, 2012. I had just flown 4 legs of flights (total of 26 hours) from the east coast of the US and probably I wasn't all there. The food was very good - my fiance had a whole trout (he loved it)... More

Quaint, romantic upstairs room facing the street in a beautiful Georgian village. The room has been used by travellers for over 150 years, so it had a special feel...no ghosts though! Large, clean shared bathrooms at either end of the corridor. Breakfast in the lovely old dining room downstairs was delicious. We also had a lovely dinner there and there... More

We arrived in Launceston on a Friday night for a short trip, and decided to have dinner at the amazing Luck’s restaurant before heading to Hobart. But late at night, who wants to drive to Hobart? According to the map, the township of Ross was roughly between to the two cities, about 45minutes each way. We looked at the Ross... More
