I have always wanted to visit King Island (yes, I love the beach, cheese, great steak and a nice bottle of red) and when I had the opportunity to go this year, I jumped at it. I was not disappointed! The place is beautiful - lots of wildlife, beautiful scenery, lovely people and fantastic cheese. We stayed at KIng Island... More

I have been a regular visitor to King Island over a number of years and always feel relaxed and welcome on this beautiful island. I visitted the island in January with my family (wife, 3 girls and father in law) as well as my cousin and her husband. We stayed at the King Island Motel which has very comfortable clean... More

What a great 2days. Ian & Lucinda from King Island Holiday village made our trip unforgettable. The rooms were very comfortable and the meals were second to none. The crayfish & the oysters with King Island Endeavour Blue cheese were the highlight of the evening. Sitting at the dinner table with ocean views-just brilliant . The 4WD tour took us off... More

The hospitality and accommodation were second to none. The rooms were very comfortable and it was just so nice to come back to a warm room after a day out in the cold - it was wet and windy too. Lucinda's catering and good humour were legendary.Ian excelled himself with his knowledge of the Island. He also took us to... More

From the moment we arrived on beautiful King Island our hosts Ian Lucinda at King Island Holiday Village and Motel made our weekend the perfect romantic getaway. Comfortable warm and well appointed room, heater on, and a candlelit dinner waiting. And that was just the start. We chose to have breakfast and dinner cooked for us and were impressed by... More

Oh boy, I have been on a few holiday breaks, but this one would be hard to beat for me. It is not a 5 star resort, as Ian and Lucinda point out from the start on the web site, but it has what the 5 star joints can't offer. Hospitality, ripper genuine "see it all tours" from ship wrecks,... More

Just one hour from Melbourne and you find yourself in a lost paradise. King Island is amazing. Great food, great people, wildlife everywhere, I especially enjoyed the birds. But there are parts of King Island which are hard to get to, even for the locals and that's where the 4WD tour comes into it's own. You must do it. You... More

A few weeks ago my wife and I (we are from New Caledonia)decided on a trip to King Island as we enjoy visiting places which are not `` icon``on the world tourist maps! . So, not knowing exactly what to expect , we went for the King Island Experience package : 3 nights & 4 days all included. Those 4... More

Ian and Lucinda run wonderful accommodation with professionalism and friendliness. The rooms are quaint and comfortable. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the adventure package, especially the 4WD experience.
