I really should not write this review. My family fell in love with this place and really would like to keep it a secret. Better yet, we would like Tim and Jane to adopt us so we could bring our Australian Shepard dogs to Australia to hang with Jimmy, Sammy, and their sheep buddies. The whole point of going to... More

We stayed in the "Curringa Cottage" which was conventional and spacious with a complete kitchen where we have made our great and delicious dinner. But, as that was my first time to go for a farmstay, I was expect more. However, what we experienced in the farm was just to drive around the very big farm area, to see the... More

Hello Wy LO. Thank you for reviewing Curringa Farm and please allow me to reply to your comments. Staying on a farm is a different experience to living in the city. As mentioned in our promotional material, we are a real working farm not a hobby farm. I do not know exactly which day you stayed on in February as... More

Unfortuntley for us we only had a one night stay, next time it will be for two or three. The hosts are very friendly and the accommodation was extremely well appointed and spotlessly clean. The breakfast provided with home made bread was excellent. Out teenagers loved it, we loved it. We will be back. Thank you Curringa Farm!

After a scenic but focused drive from Strahan we arrived at Curringa Farm, Tim & Jane were in the middle of a farm tour but still made us feel very welcome. They explained where everything was so we could go and get comfortable but as we headed to the car the kids wanted to look at sheep in the holding... More

We drove from Hobart and took slightly more than an hour to reach the farm. We had a large party that was accommodated in 2 separate cottages that were nearby each other. The cottages were comfortable. Over the Edge was older and quieter while Wedgetail Wings was newer, but noisier in the morning as the sheeps grazed nearby. Breakfast was... More

Hello rdreamer. Thank you for your feedback about Curringa Farm. As you are aware we are a real working farm with obligations to sheep, crops and all aspects of our business. You have mentioned some areas of concern about your experience, to which we can only appologise to your dissattisfaction. The home made bread is normally made daily and incorporates... More

This was the perfect place to unwind after a long and tiring drive from Strahan. We opened a bottle of wine, sat on the deck and instantly relaxed. There are 3 rental properties on the farm. They are reached after a 3km drive on a dirt road from the farmhouse. We stayed in Seaglenest, which is very well designed and... More
